As a revamped version of the highly popular show ‘Strong Heart’, SBS will be opening the curtains for ‘Strong Heart 2’ with Super Junior’s Choi Siwon as its first guest.

The show’s PD Shin Hyo Jung stated, “Siwon has been confirmed as a guest for the first filming of ‘Strong Heart’ on February 7th. He will be appearing with two to three other guests.”

After giving humorous performances on the TV series ‘King Of Dramas’ which recently went off the air, Choi Siwon’s participation in the first episode of Strong Heart 2 is already drawing attention.

The new ‘Strong Heart 2’ will be a talk show based on people’s lives. Actress Kim Hee Sun, singer Yoon Jong Shin and comedian Shin Dong Yup will be the new MCs of the revamped talk show.

Super Junior’sChoi Si Won will appear as the first guest on SBS’s new variety show “Strong Heart 2.”

The show representative said, “Choi Si Won will appear on the show ‘Strong Heart 2′ on February 7. Besides Choi Si Won, other guests are not yet confirmed.”

The original version of “Strong Heart” came to an end, but its revamped version, “Strong Heart 2,” is set to air. Actress Kim Hee Sun, comedian Shin Dong Yup, and singer Yoon Jong Shin are confirmed as the new hosts.

In the previous show, there were usually 20 guests invited on the show at one time. However, in the new show, only three or four guests will be invited to share their emotional stories.

Super Junior‘s Siwon will be one of the first guests to appear on SBS’ ‘Strong Heart 2‘.

The first season wrapped up filming on January 17th, and Siwon will be featured on the first episode of the new reboot. ‘Strong Heart 2′ PD Shin Hyo Jung stated, “Siwon has been confirmed as a guest for the first filming of ‘Strong Heart 2′ on [February] 7th. Currently, Siwon will be featuring alongside 2-3 additional guests, but the other guests have not been confirmed as of yet.”

Actress Kim Hee Sun, singer Yoon Jong Shin, and comedian Shin Dong Yup will be the new MCs of the revamped talk show, which will feature more participation from the audience than the first season, creating a more comfortable and honest talk show.

Eunhyuk had viewers as well as the other stars on set laughing as he subtly brought up his previous photo incident in a light-hearted way.

On ‘Strong Heart‘ that was aired on the 15th, baseball player Lee Yong Kyu discussed the attention he received during the 2009 World Baseball Classic in the Korea-Japan match. Lee Yong Kyu was hit on the head by the ball thrown at him by the opposing team’s pitcher and the news made headlines left and right.

Eunhyuk commented, “From March 5th, 2009 to the 24th during the WBC, Lee Yong Kyu was searched more than 1,950,000 times on portal sites. It’s exponentially more than Lee Min Ho‘s, whose drama ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ was ranked #1 in terms of ratings during the time.”

He then added, “My search ranking used to be 235th place… But now, it’s probably gone up a lot,” hinting at his photo incident in a subtle manner. The studio was brought to laughter as Eunhyuk good-naturedly joked about it, and MC Shin Dong Yup could not help but tease as he feigned innocence as he asked him to explain, commenting, ”Just why did it go up?” causing everyone to chuckle again.

SBS′ Strong Heart will hold its last shoot on January 17, and conclude its journey of three years and three months.

The official added, “Another show has been set up for the Tuesday 11 p.m. time slot. This means that Strong Heart will be discontinued.”

The variety team in SBS was actually divided over whether to discontinue Strong Heart, as the show is popular in the advertisement world and it still makes strong issues every week. There was talk of starting a second season of Strong Heart or changing the show′s format instead of starting a new show, but as the decision has been made, the show will give way to a new one.

There are still many stock episodes of Strong Heart to be aired, so the new show will start airing in February at the earliest.

Strong Heart became one of SBS′ biggest variety shows ever since it started up on October 6, 2009. It gathered attention for bringing together ′the Nation′s MC′ Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Gi. After Kang Ho Dong and left the show and Lee Seung Gi also decided to leave after hosting the show alone for a while, Shin Dong Yeop and Lee Dong Wook took over.

Super Junior‘s leader Leeteuk‘s penned letter to “Strong Heart” was recently revealed.

On December 10, Leeteuk’s handwritten letter sent from his training camp, after being drafted back in October, was read aloud on the latest SBS variety show “Strong Heart” broadcast.

Leeteuk’s letter began with, “To my dear Strong Heart family and viewers” and went on to list out everyone’s names, asking if they were doing well. With his detailed and caring fashion, his letter touched many present at the set.

Leeteuk has since made headlines since being drafted for being the top shooter in his rank.

Guests who made an appearance on this episode of “Strong Heart” included comedian Jo Hae Ryun, top model Hae Bak, Lee Sang Yup, Kim So Hyun, Yang Ik Joon, Park Chan Min, Park Min Ha, Lee Lee Jung, Kwang Hee, Ji Sook and In Soo.

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk has sent the SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ family a letter from the army. The letter will be revealed on the December 11th broadcast of the show.

Leeteuk addressed the touching letter to “the ‘Strong Heart’ family and viewers,” and it’s said to describe his experiences so far as a soldier, living in the training camp, as well as his greetings and well wishes for the rest of the ‘Strong Heart’ family. He left for the beginning of his mandatory service on October 30th, and he’s also made headlines for receiving perfect marks in shooting.

In related news, the newest ‘Strong Heart’ episode will feature Park Chan Min and his daughter Park Min Ha, Jo Hye Ryun, Kim So Hyun, top model Hye Park, ZE:A‘s Kwanghee, MYNAME‘s Insoo,Rainbow‘s Jisook, and director Yang Ik Joon, who directed the hit KBS drama ‘Nice Guy‘.

This episode will air on the 11th at 11:15PM KST.

[MAMA 2012] VOTE FOR SUPER JUNIOR and VOTE TOGETHER!

On the latest episode of ‘Strong Heart‘ sexy soloist Son Dam Bi‘s strong, yet beautiful shoulders were taken notice of by the guests on set.

Son Dam Bi revealed, “I swam for 9 years”, explaining her broad shoulders. To show the audience, she took Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk‘s jacket and put it on. Although the jacket itself was slightly boxy on her, the shoulder area fit her just fine.

Not to be outdone by Son Dam Bi, Eunhyuktried to reason that ”It’s a slim-fitting jacket“, which didn’t end up convincing the MCs and the guests.

And so, a measuring tape was then brought out to measure the breadth of Son Dam Bi and Eunhyuk’s shoulders. Eunhyuk’s shoulder width came out to be 43 cm, and Son Dam Bi’s came out to be 45 cm, and both couldn’t help but be flustered at the result; Eunhyuk was a bit embarrassed that he had narrower shoulders than a woman, while Son Dam Bi was equally embarrassed that her shoulders were broader than a man’s.
