[TV Report=Moon Ji-youn] SuperJunior’s Kim Hee-cheol will serve as a temporary host of ‘Boom’s Young Street’.

A source form SBS said to TV Report on November 12, “Kim Hee-cheol will temporarily replace Boom as a host of the radio program ‘Young Street’.

When asked about the possibility of Kim Hee-cheol returning to ‘Young Street’, the source said, “Nothing is not determined yet. Today’s (Nov 12) show will be hosted by Kim Hee-cheol, but, tomorrow, the host may be changed.”

Boom announced to quit all his current posts after he was reported to have been investigated for illegal gambling. On November 11 when he made the announcement, a recorded show was aired, but it was not sure whether the radio program will continue to be aired. In the end, Kim Hee-cheol was picked as a temporary host to prevent cancellation of the show.

The source said, “We are not in a situation to tell you if Kim Hee-cheol is nominated as the host of the program. We are considering several nominees for a new host.”

Kim Hee-cheol had hosted ‘Young Street’ as a long-time popular host before he joined the military.

Heechul reinterprets Orange Caramel’s “Aing” with an acoustic version on “Youngstreet”

Reactions to Super Junior Heechul’s interpration of Orange Caramel’s “Ahing” is not. Heechul’s last day at his radio show “Kim Heechul’s Youngstreet” was on June 26th and sang Orange Caramel’s popular song “Ahing” released late last year. Heechul was accompanied by TRAX’s Jungmo playing the guitar, and together, they played a beautiful acoustic performance for fans.

Netizens left comments such as, “The song sounds so exotic,” “A versatile Kim Heechul,” and “His soft voice sounds good.”

In the next 5 days, guest MCs will be invited to the radio show “Youngstreet.”

Wonder Girls’ Sohee calls Heechul on his last day of Youngstreet radio

It looks like Super Junior’s Heechul finally got his wish!

On June 26th, the Wonder Girls‘ Sohee called Heechul on Youngstreet radio, making his last day on the program even more memorable. He seemed to enjoy the phone call a lot more than the picture above, where he had asked the editors to photoshop Sohee into his photo. As fans all know, Heechul has been an extremely loyal fan of the Wonder Girls’ “mandu face” over the past few years, with fans affectionately deeming the duo “Soheechul”.

When Heechul realized it was Sohee calling him, he proceeded to laugh wildly in joy, then quickly calmed himself to ask her how she was. “How is Heechul oppa?” he later asked her, to which she complimented, “You’re such a talented and fun host, which is why I have a great time listening to your show.”

He also mentioned that J.Y. Park had greatly praised her when they had met for dinner the night before. “Whenever we meet he always praises you. He also told me to stop bothering him,” Heechul laughed.

He also asked Sohee what he meant to her, and after a brief silence, she replied, “An oppa that I’m very grateful for.“ Heechul then added, “I’m very grateful to you, because when I’m in a bad mood and want to hit someone, I’ll think of you and feel better.”

He also once again proved himself to be a true fan of Sohee when he commented, “Tomorrow’s your birthday right? Happy Birthday,” to which Sohee replied, “Yes it is! Thank you,” and played “Nobody” after her call.
