Everyone is aware at this point about the recent tragedy affecting Leeteuk and his family. ELF around the world shed tears and drowned in feelings of helplessness even as we poured our support out online to each other. Now, our brave angel Park Jungsoo has resumed his military service. It is impossible to imagine how hard it must be for him to leave the arms of his mother, sister and Super Junior brothers once again, especially in this difficult time.
Up until now ELF have shown maturity in standing aside and allowing him to mourn without interfering; now, it is our turn. In less than 4 months Leeteuk will be back with SJ, preparing for 7jib. Let’s show him that we were here all along, that he still holds a place in all our hearts.
{The Project}
- Cut out a BLUE heart no larger than 7.5cm x 12.5cm
- Write a message to Leeteuk on ONE SIDE ONLY, decorate that same side however you wish, but please don’t make it thicker than about 0.2cm or it will be rejected
- Mail it to:

The hearts will be collected in a photo album or scrapbook (hence size requirements & writing/decorating only on one side), and in September the album will be delivered to Leeteuk through Kona Beans.

It is a project you have to send by post, not email. You have to cut out the heart yourself, decorate, put it in an envelope and send to the address there. There is plenty of time so please don’t feel you need to send with any priority, it should be cheap to send, just like a card or postcard.

I’m sorry but it will be impossible if I have to cut out all the hearts on my own.. see if you can join up with other ELF in your area to send in bulk, maybe it will be easier?

I’m sorry it will be too time-consuming if I have to cut out the hearts myself, so no emailing. Please see if you can find a group of ELF near you to send all together, perhaps it will save money.

Hi, I’m sorry but we can’t accept via email, too difficult to have to cut everything out myself >.< we can try to put together a list of groups who will collect the hearts in different regions for sending in bulk, in case that makes it easier. Apologies if this is not going to work out for you, but there will certainly be projects in the future that don't require mailing!

Yes! totally ok ^^ the idea is that, by using the heart shape for every message he can understand the message even if he cannot (or doesn’t have time) to read every one. Also he will be able to see he has fans from all over the world who were thinking about him during these tough times. ^^

Sorry, seeing comment now. basically the heart has to fit in that size, it can be any shape or can be smaller but must not be larger, so if you cut a paper in a rectangle with those dimensions, the heart must fit in that rectangle!

about the thickness,can i use A4 paper?wouldn’t it be too thin?
and about the color both sides should be in blue or the side we’re writing on can stay non-colored?

A4 paper is fine~ of course you may use something thicker if you have it, but A4 is completely acceptable. About the blue, it should be blue on the side with the writing on it definitely. The back doesn’t need to be blue (the back won’t be showing). You can use a light blue colour for the heart if you need black ink to show up, but the side with the message should be blue background.
I will also add, you can draw something on the blue, like your flag or something, but it should be clear that the main colour of the heart is blue ^^
Oh… and if you are worried about it not fitting the requirements you can always tweet me a pic of the heart you made & I’ll tell you ^^ @all15cnh.. ^^

The dimensions of the rectangle the heart fits in should be 12.5cm by 7.5cm, you can decide whether you want the heart to be oriented the long way or the wide way, so long as it is heart shaped ^^
So far most people are choosing to use the template~

Thanks for replying soon! I printed the template but the heart’s sizes were changed and it fit in a square! 😀 I’ve already made my heart and posted it! But it’s in a long way! I wish it won’t be rejected because it was really a difficult project ti persuade my mom to post it! 😥

it is not so strict, just saying you can make it on card (so like from a cereal box & coloured blue on one side) if you think paper is too thin^^ sorry if that was confusing, basically it needs to be flat so don’t add 3D decorations lol

We are hungarian elf, and we would like to ask you for a favour. We saw the project, that you have organised for Leeteuk’s comeback. But because we noticed it just today, it will be not possible to send the hearts till 30th July, but we would like to take part in this project. We are a small country and far away from Korea, but we love our leader very much and would like to show him our love through our heart messages. We would like to show him that also in this little country are many elfs who love him and waiting for him. So we would like kindly ask you, if it would be possible to let us to send the heart messages a little bit later we would it appreciate and would be very happy. I think one week would be enough.
