It’s been a week since Super Junior’s Yesung quietly reported for duty to start his 2-years of mandatory service, and now we can catch our first glimpse of the idol in a training photo.

Recently, a photo of the idol with his buzz cut was revealed on the website for the 35th division in Jeolla Province, where he is receiving basic training.

In other news, Heechul will be discharged from the military this summer and is already rehearsing the choreography so he can jump right back into Super Junior activities.

Super Junior‘s Yesung quietly enlisted in the army on the 6th, and fans were able to see him for the first time since his enlistment with a new, short hairstyle.

Although it’s only been a week since Yesung enlisted in the army, fans who missed him were definitely happy to see the photo update, which was posted to a military training department’s online cafe. Yesung followed the normal procedure for every soldier who enlists by shaving his head and putting on a standard uniform.

ELF commented, “It’s nice to see Yesung again after his enlistment,” “He looks good with short hair,” and “I don’t need to worry anymore after seeing him smile.”

Super Junior Yesung Reveals Picture From Army Boot Camp

Idol group Super Junior’s member Yesung in army boot camp was revealed.

On May 8, Yesung revealed a picture taken with his fellow soldiers in the Junjoo 35th division.

In the picture taken on the day after their entrace into boot camp, Yesung is smiling brightly.

Yesung entered boot camp on May 6. He will go through a 4-week boot camp and become a soldier for 23 months to finish his army service.

A week just passed since Super Junior’s Yesung left an army of fans crying their hearts out on May 6. He previously shared through SM Entertainment that he wanted to leave quietly.

He’s currently receiving basic military training at the 35th division in Jeolla Province and the division’s official website uploaded a picture where Yesung gives off a small smile in a buzz cut.

On a happier note, teammate Heechulwill be discharged on August 31 and is currently practicing various choreographies to prepare for transitioning back into the group.
