Super Junior member Kim Ki Bum successfully kicked off an exclusive fanmeeting in Thailand.

The singer-turned-actor held his solo fan meeting titled ‘2013 Kim Ki Bum Memory of Love Fan Meeting in Bangkok’ on March 31st which was attended by 3,000 fans. Tickets for the fan meeting were sold out in just 5 minutes, evidencing his overwhelming popularity in the country.

At the fan meeting, Kim Ki Bum greeted the fans in Thai and he even sang a Thai song titled “Thank You for Loving Me” with a group of Thai children.

In the talk session, Kim Ki Bum also spoke of his role in his drama ‘I Love Lee Tae Ri’ in which he played the main character as well as the roles he hope to attempt in future.

Fans also gave Kim Ki Bum a surprise by playing a video message, and held up placards that reads, “We’ll promise to look after you forever”, which drew tears from the singer.

The day′s performance started off with Moon of Seoul.

After the performance, Kim Ki Bum said in Thai that he missed his fans to great applause from his audience, and he even sang a Thai song titled Thank You for Loving Me with a group of Thai children.

He then held a talk session, opening up about his thoughts before his fans. He talked about his role in tvN′s I ♥ Lee Taly, and about which roles he would like to take up later on.

“I′m always thankful for and touched by the crowds coming to welcome me to Thailand at the airport. Let us meet more often,” he said in thanks.

He presented lucky fans who were chosen after a game with an autographed copy of a book and a hat. He then shook hands with everyone at the venue and took photos, stepping even more closer to his fans.

Thai fans in return prepared their own little event. They played a video message, and held up placards reading, ′For you, Kim Ki Bum, We′ll promise to look after you forever′, drawing tears from their star.

Kim Ki Bum has finished shooting his Chinese drama, and is currently contemplating his next move.
