Super Junior will begin their world tour next month.

The ‘Super Show 5‘ will kick off in March starting in Seoul. The group will then go to China, Japan, South America, and Europe.

This will be Super Junior’s 5th ‘Super Show’ and the concert tour has been held annually since 2008. The First three Super Show’s were tours across Asia and last year was their 1st World tour. The tour has been a huge success bringing in more than 900,000 audience members to date.

The first dates of the concert are set to be on March 23rd and 24th in Seoul, and tickets will go on sale via G-market on February 27. Overseas fans will be able to buy a global fan tour through SM C&C on February 18.

130214 Official Super Show 5 Info Update on Super Junior Website

Super Junior will be going global again with a world tour.

Starting in March, Super Junior will travel through China, Japan, South America and Europe for its Super Junior World Tour Super Show 5.

The Super Show brand has gathered over 900,000 people since 2008 through its three Asia tours and one world tour.

The first round of concerts will take place in Seoul on March 23 and 24.

SM Entertainment said about the concert that “it will be a concert that shows off Super Junior′s colors and charms, and it will definitely captivate its audiences.”

Overseas fans will even be given a chance to participate in a global overseas fan tour. SM C&C will sell concert packages from February 18 that will let overseas fans attend the first concert for Super Show 5.

Super Junior is currently concentrating on its unit and solo activities.

Super Junior Announces Concert in Peru

It has been announced through the local newspaper El Comercio that Super Junior will make a concert in Peru.

Last year several bands visited South America including JYJ, U-KISS, Big Bang and Junsu which presented solo concerts as well as a Music Bankwith the participation of Super Junior, MBLAQ, After School, C.N. Blue,Davichi and Rania.

This year started with several rumors about possible events and concerts in the region and the 1st one has finally been announced.

According to El Comercio, Super Junior will present the Super Show 4 in Lima on April 27th at the Jockey Club, details about the tickets and promoter are still unknown but will be announced soon.

The kpop fever returns: Super Junior will be performing in Lima in April.

The south korean band has confirmed their show in our capital on April 27th of this year. The performance promises to be one of the most impressive in the visual way.

Saying kpop doesnt sound as extrange as it was in the past. Psy, with his Gangnam Style, has put korean music in everybodys mouth. In Peru, we had lived the invasion of the hallyu wave, with the visit of Big Bang, JYJ y U-kiss. This year, the “boom” carries on with the visit of Super Junior. SuJu, as is also known, will be performing the next April 27th in the Jockey Club.

The band is one of the most popular in the world. Plus, is the biggest under their talent agency SM Entertainment. In the beggining, it was form by 12 members. Currently there are nine: Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun.

The singer Han Geng, step down from the group in 2009, after suing the agency. On the other hand, Heechul and Leteuk are enlisted in the army of their country to full fill the mandatory military service. Once they finish, they can continue with the group activities.

SuJu will bring his tour Super Show 4 that promotes their fifth album “Mr. Simple”. The record ranked 3rd on the World Albums ranking on Billboard. “Mr. Simple”, “Opera” and “Good Friends” are a few of th songs that are in the album, and surely will be perform in the concert.

Super Junior started the year with the right foot. In the Seoul Music Awards 2013, they won two awards the Bonsang, that they share with other bands like Big Bang and 2NE1, besides to the Hallyu Special Award.

They have also won other awards like Favorite Artist Korea, from the TV Asia Awards, and the Asia Artist of the Year in the chinese ceremony Tencent Stars Magnificent.

They closed 2012 leading the charts of the physical album sells in their country. “Sexy, Free & Single”, their latest album had sold 177, 718 copies.

The ‘Gaon K-Pop Awards’ has revealed their guest line up.

Gaon revealed today that the ’2nd Gaon Chart K-Pop Award’ will be held at the Seoul Olympic Hall on February 13.

This day, top stars such as Big Bang,Super Junior, 2NE1, Wonder Girls and more will be attending.

This event will be hosted by producer Joo Young Hoon and Brown Eyed Girls member Gain. This is Gain’s first time hosting a show since her 7 years in the industry.

This award ceremony collects all data from the past year and recognizes artists and songs that received the most attention and love throughout the year.

There will be 16 awards given out as well as awards for every month of 2012.

For this year’s ceremony, they will also be recognizing the staff and production aspect of K-pop by awarding producers, composers, choreographers, stylists and more.

This award ceremony will be broadcasted on all 3 of KBS’s channels. The red carpet event will begin earlier at 5:30PM

Super Junior-M‘s Henry, Dal Shabet‘s Jiyul, miss A‘s Fei, Tony An, and Son Ho Young will be starring on the celebrity edition of ‘Master Chef Korea‘.

‘Master Chef Korea’ launched in April 2012 on Olive TV and gained incredibly popularity. Season 2 of the show is scheduled to air in May. However, before that, the show will hold a celebrity version in which stars battle each other as chefs for 8 weeks. Whoever wins the celebrity edition of contest will win 100 million KRW (approximately $92,000 USD).

All of the members of the show are already known to be good cooks. Tony An has a franchise of luxury fast food restaurants while Son Ho Young has been an MC for a food show, and had been acknowledged for his own recipes.

The program commented, “The staff and the professionals met with the celebrities before the show to test their abilities and to check their basic cooking skills. Everyone was surprised by their talent. People who we didn’t even think about showed off their talents, so we are looking forward to airing the show.”

The first episode of the show will air on February 22.
