Super Junior becomes part of Thai curriculum! – From 120531

Boy band Super Junior has dominated the academic world by landing a spot inside a Thai textbook.

In the music textbook for high school seniors, the Korean band was mentioned with an accompanying picture as “The artist who performed the biggest concert in Thailand.”

The mention was in reference to the band’s “Super Show 4” concert, which took place in Bangkok from March 16 to 18.
The Thai concert run was extended by one night due to fans’ demands and amassed more than 40,000 audience members in total.

The show was noted for bringing the most number of audience members to a concert. With three concerts in a row, it was also the longest-running consecutive show in Thailand.

120521 Super Junior’s Kibum shows off his six packs for ’1st Look’

Super Junior’s Kibum took part in a stunning photo spread for the fashion magazine, “1^st Look.” The pictorial was shot under the title “A Grown-up Boy,” and features a personal interview with Kibum where he talks about his growth as a celebrity, his role in the upcoming drama, “I Love Italy,” and what he thinks about acting.

Fans have particularly been impressed by Kibum’s mature look as he took off his shirt for a topless photo in the spread. Kibum says in the interview, “It took me just six weeks to make this body. I couldn’t really eat and mostly just worked out. If you’re an actor, you have to do whatever it takes to make yourself match your drama personality. It’s summer soon, so it works out for me.”

Kibum also shared his thoughts on what he sees in a perfect man. “A man who protects his girl, and someone who knows his girl is important,” he said, adding, “I get confused too, between myself and Eundong from ‘I Love Italy.”

The tvN drama “I Love Italy” will air its first episode on May 28.

In time for his comeback to the small screen with tvN‘s ‘I Love Italy‘, Super Junior‘s Kibum has participated in a classy new pictorial with ‘1st Look‘ magazine!

To show off his six months of hardcore training and effort, Kibum has gone completely topless to reveal his chiseled six pack abs. This combined with his emotional gazes plus the black and white effects makes for a stunning pictorial that brings out all the best features of this budding actor.

His drama is currently awaiting its pilot broadcast on May 28th.
