Tiffany and Leeteuk Reveal the Highest Earning Member in Girls’ Generation and Super Junior – From 120501

On yesterday’s episode of SBS “Strong Heart,”Tiffany named YoonA as the member who has the highest earnings in Girls’ Generation. She explained, “YoonA has a lot of solo activities, like CFs and dramas, so she takes the no. 1 spot.” YoonA currently stars in KBS melodrama “Love Rain,” alongside Jang Geun Suk,Lee Mi Sook, and Jung Jin Young. Tiffany added, “I’m also starting new activities with unit group TaeTiSeo with Taeyeon and Seohyun, so I’m also looking forward [to my income].”

Following Tiffany’s answer, MC Lee Dong Wook asked Leeteuk the same question regarding Super Junior. Leeteuk replied, “Last year, I had eight programs under my belt, as well as radio DJ activities and CFs. So I firmly believed I would take the top spot this time.  I was really expecting to win, but then I didn’t,” piquing fellow cast members’ interest. He stated, “First place went to [Choi] Si Won. It was impossible to beat him because of his CFs in Thailand, China, Taiwan, etc.” Eunhyuk humorously responded, “No matter how much we earn, we make less than Si Won,” drawing sympathy from fellow guests.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk Shows Up As Marilyn Monroe at the Airport! – From 120430

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk wrote a new chapter in airport fashion history.

Eunhyuk arrived at the Incheon International Airport on April 30 dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. The reason he had to do this was because of failing a mission during a concert. After finishing an Indonesian concert, it is being said that Eunhyuk happily went through with his punishment.

On April 27-29, Super Junior held their “Super Show 4” concert at the Mata Elang international stadium in Jakarta. The concert had 25,000 viewers. It was Super Junior’s first concert in Indonesia.

On April 7, offline ticket reservations were being held and because the fans had all rushed into the ticket booth, some fans fainted. Super Junior decided to add one more concert day, that is why the concert was held for three days.

Now, Super Junior will continue on with their world tour in the Tokyo Dome from May 12-13.

SME Documentary “I AM” Showing Cancelled Due to Data Error-From 120430

SM Entertainment‘s new documentary film “I AM,” featuring the lives of artists like Kangta, BoA, DBSK,Super Junior, Girls Generation, SHINee, and f(x), cancelled its press premiere scheduled on April 30 without further notice. “I AM” was supposed to have its first premiere event for media and sponsoring companies on April 30 at 4pm.

The PR representative of “I AM” explained, “We’ve had a long and serious meeting regarding the quality of the movie last night until 11pm. All important officials from the distribution company CJ Entertainment, SME, and the director of the movie Choi Jin Sung got together and have concluded that we could make it better.” This representative added, “The biggest reason of the cancellation of today’s movie premiere is data error. We decided to cancel the scheduled premiere, because we wanted to reveal the movie when it is perfect.”

Although the press premiere of “I AM” has been cancelled, the showcase featuring SME’s artists will still continue at 7pm on April 30. The film “I AM” will be in theaters on May 10

120501 Super Junior Stays #1 for 100 Weeks in Taiwan

Super Junior has set a new record by being number one on a music chart in Taiwan for 100 weeks in total. The title song “Mr. Simple,” from their fifth album, has been on the TOP 100 chart of the popular online music site, “KKBOX.” On April 29, the chart for the fourth week of April was revealed and it showed that Super Junior was at number one once again. They have been number one for 37 weeks consecutively.

Additionally, Super Junior claimed the number one spot for 63 weeks consecutively, from the first week of June 2010 to the second week of August 2011. This was for the title song, “BONAMANA,” from their fourth album. First, they set a record by being the first to be number one for the longest time on “KKBOX” chart. Then, they set a new record by passing along the number one spot to their other song, “Mr. Simple,” which resulted in Super Junior being number one for 100 weeks.

Super Junior expressed their feelings by saying, “Number one for 100 weeks consecutively. We are happy and honored. Even we believe that it is a surprising record. We once again want to thank our fans. We will become a harder working Super Junior.”

Currently, Super Junior is successfully on their world tour, “Super Show 4.” They will continue their world tour in front of over 100,000 fans at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on May 12 and May 13.
