In a recent survey asking 7,936 Visit Korea members in 81 countries which Hallyu stars they thought best represent each of the four seasons in Korea, the majority matched today’s top K-pop stars Girls’ Generation and Super Junior with spring and summer, respectively, and actors Hyun Bin and Bae Yong-Joon with autumn and winter, respectively.

The survey results, however, varied slightly by language group. Most English speakers thought that Super Junior best represents summer and winter, while most Chinese speakers selected Hyun Bin for autumn and winter. Four language groups (English, Chinese, Japanese and Russian) considered Bae Yong-Joon as the appropriate depiction of winter, while eight (including English, Chinese, Japanese and German) agreed that Girls’ Generation suits Korea’s spring the most.

Meanwhile, the survey revealed that the Visit Korea members are most interested in receiving celebrity news and updates, as well as in learning Korean language.
