110801 Super Junior’s Kim Heechul shares his concerns about life after the army

Super Junior’s four-dimensional member and the chairman of celebrity group called ‘Chocoball‘, Kim Heechul, recently talked about his concerns on life after his future enrollment in the army.

On August 1st, on the summer vacation special edition of MBC’s ‘Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Won Hee’s Play With Me‘, Heechul confessed, “My normal image on broadcasts is being a bit abnormal so I’m not sure that after 2 years of military service, the public would accept my abnormalities again” showing some signs of concern.

Kim Heechul also anxiously added, “If you fall from a low status, you can go right back. But if you fall from a very high place, it’s going to be really difficult to climb back up. Especially now that I’ve already reached my peak…” accumulating a slight resentment from the ‘Chocoball’ members because of Heechul’s self-pride in his popularity.

However, Kim Heechul disregarded the fellow members and commented, “I wonder if many people would still accept me, would I have as much freedom as now?”

Meanwhile, ‘Chocoball’ is a Korean acronym for ‘People who are a bit psychotic but with elevated charms every time you look at them’. The group is comprised of celebrities with the AB blood type.

All able bodied Korean men must serve anywhere from 21 to 25 months in a military branch before they turn 31.

i’ve been thinking the same too. i want SJ to remain the same, loved by everyone but the world is round. sometimes u r on top, sometimes u will go down. after all, we could only give SJ members good memories while it lasts, shall we?

I’m sad to read how is he thinking ! We can’t ignore it, he always think that he have no place in super junior. And again, it’s like he say that again ! He is afraid of himself, he is afraid to be hate by others…i want him for the comeback after two years, Super Junior losted already Three members and…despite of what they said, i’m not sure for kibum’s, kangin’s comeback. For Hangeng, i’m sure he won’t. So, if there is Heechul who doesn’t comeback after…what about SJ ? what about our leader ? he will be really hurt about that !! I want to cry seeing this kind of news !

Fans can be fickle, that’s for sure. And there is never a shortage of younger newer groups who want to replace the older groups. I can understand Chul’s feelings: when he gets back he will be Korean age 31 or 32…..young fans are often 14-18. The young fans will probably be interested in the newer groups, right? While those of us who are older have aged also, and will still love our Suju….

BUT…..

Heenim maybe worries we fans will be caught up in career, maybe getting married, having a child, maybe we will move away from fangirling, and have less time……and where would he be then? Also if Suju popularity becomes less, the SM people would not invest so much money in them….without the backing of the company, they cannot make it, unless they form their own corporation. So many ifs. No wonder he worries.

I am Heechul bias, I never pretended anything different. I speak for myself. As long as he is somewhere on the planet, I will care about him, and want him to succeed and want to be his fan….Loving Suju is part of that because he loves Suju and they love him. I will always love Hee and Super Junior. me=BFF (Best Fan Forever)

Most groups don’t last as long as Suju…maybe he thinks the writing is on the wall.

But I heard a rumour that for Leeteuk and Heechul will serve army just for 10 months because of their health issues (about Heechul leg and Leeteuk weak’s body) of they will take public service instead. And don’t worry guys, Kangin will be back on April 2012 ^^
